From Canaan To Palestine: a history of the land and it's people!
Event description
The Palestinian Cultural Society at UWA invites you to “From Canaan to Palestine”, an illuminating two-day lecture series tracing the millennia-long history of Palestine. Join us as we journey from the ancient Canaanite civilizations through the era of the British Mandate and into the realities of modern occupation. Whether you’re a student of history, a member of the community, or simply curious to understand Palestine’s rich and complex past, these sessions will offer fresh insights, rigorous scholarship, and spirited discussion.
Due to the announcement of the FOPWA Gaza rally for Saturday the 28th, at 12pm, we have decided to delay the lecture scheduled on Saturday to 1pm to avoid a clash. The lecture on Sunday the 29th will continue as originally scheduled.
