Palisade Long Path & Shore Hike 2025

Join the Outsiders on Sunday, March 9th for our Palisade Long Path & Shore Hike! 

We'll begin with a steep descent down towards the Hudson River. You will hike along the river for about a mile and a half before the route returns toward the top of the escarpment. This is a short but very steep section of the trail. Once you reach the top, a flat stretch leads back to the start.

Bring your hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers (you’ll need them), dress warm, pack water and a sandwich, invite some friends, and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. We’ll start the day at Worthwild in Chelsea. After the hike, we'll make a stop somewhere for food and drinks before heading back home.

EVENT DETAILS:

• 10:00 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten
• 10:30 AM – Depart
• 11:00 AM – Arrive at the hike entrance
• 1:15 PM –  Quick Snack Break on the trail
• 2:15 PM – Conclude hike and head to The 9W Market
• 3:45 PM – Depart back to NYC
