Event description

You can't pour from an empty cup...

This one day event is for palliative care staff and those who work in end-of-life care. Caring for people at the end of their lives is a privilege but it can also take an emotional toll. Our intention for this day, is that participants leave feeling nurtured and recharged to continue the important work they do.

Our location is The Anne Jolly Hall, next to the Church of the Epiphany in Crafers, where there will be space given to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The day will also include a gentle yoga practice with Karen Gunter from Yoga Garage (https://yogagarage.com.au/) so please bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to learn from each other and from others who work with grief and loss, including End of Life Doula, Helen Roberts (https://gracefuldying.com/) with a focus on how to develop self-compassion and avoid burnout. A delicious lunch from Organic Cafe in Stirling is included and for those who would like to, we will finish the day with a glass of bubbles.

Arrive at 9am for a 9.15am start. Further details including where to park will be sent to you once you have registered.

For more information please contact Bek Brown: 0432 834 769
