Compassion is more than just a thought and more than a feeling. Compassion involves doing something to reduce suffering. This 1-hour introductory education course provides an overview of compassion and the concept in action.

Why attend?
The way we care for our dying reflects the humanity and compassion of our society.
Through training, we can create resilience, understanding and capacity within our community, helping us care for our loved ones, families and friends.

Who can attend?
This course is for all members of the community and there is no requirement for training or experience within the health or palliative care space.
Whilst not directly targeted to health professionals, we welcome the attendance of everyone interested in these areas.

Participating in this course:
This course will be delivered live via Zoom webinar link. You will be able to ask questions and have them answered during the webinar, via the chat function.
Anyone who registers for this course, but then is unable to participate in the live webinar, will receive a link to watch the webinar within 48 hours of receiving the recording.
