AS OUR FIRST ECLIPSE SEASON of 2025 draws to a close in early April, it is clear that we are now beneath the thermocline, the layer of ocean water that is the transition zone between the warmer waters near the sunlit surface and the cooler waters below. We are now “In the Deep,” where there seems to be little light, the pressure is intense, and temperatures can be extremely cold.

While exceedingly uncomfortable, this phase of our journey is the prelude to a major transfiguration: “a complete change or form or appearance into a more beautiful or spiritual state.” This metamorphosis will occur for each of us individually and for all of us collectively.

We’re not quite done with the planetary aspects that have been contributing to our descent into the depths, but we should start to see signs of a shift in direction over the next three months, with even more progress later in the year.

In this 90-minute webinar, astrologer Pam Younghans will share her insights into the energies we will be navigating in the second quarter of 2025. The first half of the class will provide an overview of the major planetary events of April, May, and June; the last half will focus on the specific aspects occurring week by week. Pam will draw upon the myth of Sedna, the Inuit goddess of the sea and marine animals, to illustrate the process we’re going through. She will also discuss the upcoming Uranus-Sedna conjunction and their co-presence in Gemini in 2025.

Here are some of the other planetary events that Pam will discuss in detail:

• APRIL: Clarifying spiritual values and accessing intuitive knowing (Venus and Mercury station direct in Pisces). A renewed courage in speaking our truth, in standing by our values, and in taking bold initiative (Mercury and Venus re-enter Aries). Dramatic displays (Mars re-enters Leo and squares the Taurus Sun). Intense emotions and power struggles (third and final Mars-Pluto opposition).
• MAY: The fog clears, and the new terrain becomes clear (Saturn enters Aries, Saturn and Neptune co-present in Aries). Passions are stirred, and controversies erupt as the wounds caused by aggression, anger, and bullying are increasingly apparent (first of three Chiron-Eris conjunctions).
• JUNE: Heightened intuition, sympathy, and compassion; an increased desire to protect home and family; the honoring of feminine wisdom (Jupiter enters Cancer). A test of faith and conscience (Jupiter squares Saturn and Neptune).
