Event description

There is a whisper amongst the clouds that high in the sky an aerial show is gathering momentum!

‘Pan' on Silks is a collaborative physical theatre, dance and aerial silks production with regional communities of Mission Beach and surrounding areas of Far North Queensland.

Be captivated by flying aerial arts and exquisite choreography that will leave you in awe and will delight the young and old equally. In this classical weaving and whimsical story telling style, it is the tale that touches the very heart and soul of the child in you that never grew up!

Follow Wendy and her brothers on a journey through the stardust to reach a land filled with mermaids, pirates, lost boys, adventure and perilousness!

Up close, you'll meet the very hungry crocodile. Hook and Shimee. You'll meet Tiger Lily and her band of rainforest dwellers and all your favourite characters from the classic children's tail. All four elements will be present with high winds in the silk sails, performances both above and in the water, the exotic elixir of fire dance and aerialists performing gravity defying maneuvers before they plunge all the way to the earth (well almost all the way).
