Description
Paper and Place: An introduction to paper-making will introduce participants to the equipment, processes and techniques involved in making handmade paper from recycled paper. This hands-on workshop will also include simple, easy-to-do techniques to add colour, decorative elements and textures to inspire further creative ideas. The workshop draws inspiration from some of our local indigenous Australian plants and natural environment while focussing on ways in which to make paper in a water-wise manner.
Workshop is for 18+
Maximum 8 participants
There will be some splashing, so please wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet.
Interested in using your handmade paper for another project? The Paper Flower-making workshop will show you how to make flowers out of paper and incorporate them into a wreath or mini-bouquet.
