Paper Mache Sea Creatures for Seaweek, Otahuhu Library, Sat 9 Mar 10am-12pm
Event description
This event is part of Seaweek and is proudly brought to you by the Sir Peter Blake Marine Education and Recreation Centre and The ReCreators!
In this workshop, kids will design and create an amazing sea creature using the art of paper mache! We will use cardboard, newsprint and wallpaper glue, which then be hand-painted.
These sculptures are fun to make and are great for kids who love to create!
Please come in clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
When: Saturday 9 March, 10 am - 12 pm
Where: Ōtāhuhu Library 28/30 Mason Avenue, Ōtāhuhu, Auckland 1062
The Re-Creators are on a mission to teach New Zealand how to upcycle, reduce, and reuse our resources, and to share skills in reimagining 'waste' as creative opportunities! It's not only creative and sustainable but also easy and fun!
