Event description

Looking for a way to build your child's connection with nature? Give them the opportunity to grow and care for seeds using materials found around home.

Learn how to make simple and sustainable paper pots from materials commonly found around home.

Paper pots are an easy and no fuss way to propagate seeds, you can plant them straight into soil and the paper decomposes.

All materials in this session, including seeds, are supplied and children will take away created pots to look after as they watch their plants grow.

Suitable for child aged seven years and older.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Nature Based Wellbeing at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium are indulgent and unforgettable experiences for the soul and senses, and will equip you with life-long skills to nourish your wellbeing and relationship with nature.

Dates: Friday, 6 October 2023

Times: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Location: Goodman Building, Adelaide Botanic Garden (E17 on the map).

Tickets: $15.00 per child
