Papermaking, Te Awamutu Museum, Saturday, 12 August, 11.00 am-1.00 pm
Event description
Proudly brought to you by Creative Communities!
Learn the art of paper making in this creative and hands-on workshop where you will discover the traditional process of pulping, pouring and pressing paper.
We will be covering the basic techniques, and then working with different decorative materials to create unique and beautiful hand-cast paper sheets. Each finished piece will be one of a kind.
Join us to transform upcycled cards, paper (and other natural products) into new, beautiful paper creations and give the used paper a second (or even third) life.
When: Saturday 12 August, 11.00 am - 1.00 pm
Where:Â Te Awamutu Museum 55 Rickit Road, Te Awamutu 3802
