Op Shop Tour with Paraquad Industries

Ever wondered what happens when you make a donation to a charity store? Want to know more about how your donations benefit others?
Join the WMRC on a tour of Returnit and Paraquad Industries and discover what happens to your items and how your quality items create employment opportunities. You'll get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the Containers for Change operation as well as the Opshop, Book Bazaar, Industrial Wiper Manufacture and other commerical services run by Paraquad ✨💚🙌. You'll also get an opportunity to ask questions and enjoy a light morning tea ☕🍰.

🏠 Address: 4-6 Orton Road, Shenton Park WA 6008
👞Wear: Fully enclosed footwear is required. High-vis vest, safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided for parts of the tour.
💰 Cost: $5 + Eventbrite booking fee.
Tour format:
- Tour of Paraquad 10 -10:45 am
- Tour of Return-it 10:45 am -11:15 am
- Morning Tea 11:15 am -11:30 am
- WMRC waste talk with Q&A session 11:30 am -12 noon
This tour is not suitable for anyone under the age of 16 years old.
Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge, Nedlands and residents from other councils.
Tickets are limited and non-refundable. If you cannot make this event, please let us know at least 1 day in advance. Your ticket will then be given to someone on the waitlist and we will issue a voucher for our upcoming WMRC events if enough notice is given. If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event please call on 9384 6711 and we are happy to assist. All ticket sales from this event will be donated to Paraquad.
