Parent Education Evening with Dr Judith Locke
Getting your child on track in their school years (and ready for the years beyond)
We are delighted to welcome renowned Clinical Psychologist, Dr Judith Locke, to present a special session for Waverley College parents of students in Years 5-12.
In this practical and engaging session, Dr Locke will draw on the latest psychological research and her extensive clinical experience to offer positive, effective strategies parents can use to support their tween and teen children during the school years and beyond.
Topics will include:
Encouraging motivation and responsibility in your child
Supporting their ability to cope with academic and emotional challenges
Strengthening your parent–child relationship
Helping your child develop maturity, independence, and confidence
This session is for Waverley College parents only. Students will not be permitted to attend.
About the Presenter
Dr Judith Locke is a registered clinical psychologist, former teacher, and school counsellor. She regularly speaks across Australia and internationally on parenting, education, and wellbeing. Judith is the author of the best-selling books The Bonsai Child, The Bonsai Student, and Raising Anxiety, and her parenting advice has featured widely in national media.
