Description

Please join us for two important sessions about literacy and the importance of advocating for your students.

Research shows that 95% of students can learn to read, yet only 16% of Latino third graders are reading on grade level in the Worcester Public Schools.

Join us on May 16th with the Mass Reads Coalition to learn about new state legislation aimed at ensuring EVERY student can read at grade level.

Next, on June 6th, the City of Worcester's Director of Youth Opportunities, Raquel Castro-Corazzini, will have a conversation about the power and importance of youth advocacy.
