We are pleased to welcome Dr Judith Locke back to St Peters to help your children become confident and capable in their school years and beyond.

Dr Judith Locke is a renowned registered clinical psychologist, former teacher and school counsellor. She speaks to parents, teachers and students throughout Australia and internationally on topics relating to modern parenting, family wellbeing and academic environments.

Judith will draw on the latest research and her clinical experience to share positive, practical and effective strategies parents can use to help their children and teens continue to develop their confidence and capabilities.

We are looking forward to hearing from Judith. Her session will:

  • help parents ensure their child experiences fulfilling years at school

  • offer solutions to parents to help children cope better with the demands of schoolwork, exams and friendship issues

  • give parents strategies they can use when their child is coping with tricky events

  • help parents assist their child to start to become ready for life after school

Judith is the author of two best-selling parenting books, The Bonsai Child and The Bonsai Student. Her latest book is Raising Anxiety, coauthored with Dr Danielle Einstein. Judith runs a private practice and works with families in Australasia. Her commentary features regularly in the media, including a weekly parenting column for The Sunday Mail. She is a member of The Australian Psychological Society and a fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
