Midvale Hub Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers living in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean, and Bayswater.

All parents and caregivers are welcome. We value diversity and inclusion, and celebrate families of all cultural backgrounds, types, and abilities.

A staff member will call you 2–3 weeks before the program starts to complete a simple registration and check in with you about any questions, needs, or goals you may have.

Bringing Up Great Kids - Parenting After Family Violence offers a safe, respectful and empowering space for women to reflect on their parenting journey after family violence. Together we explore your strengths, celebrate your resilience, and support you in building a parenting story grounded by safety, confidence and hope. Join us to reconnect with your inner resources and create a strong, positive path forward for you and your children.

In this program we explore:

• Explore how family violence impacts parenting and rebuild stronger connections

• Learn how children’s brain development shapes their thoughts, and behaviour.

• Understand the meaning behind children’s actions and respond with confidence

• Reconnect with your inner strengths, values and courage

Program Details:

• Dates: Tuesdays, 17 & 24 February; 3, 10, 17 & 24 March

• Time: 9:30am – 11:30am

• Creche: Available for a small fee

• Location: ERICA Women’s Centre (Women Only Venue), 24 Junction Parade, Midland

• Booking: Essential (10 spots available)
