PARENTING KIDS WITH ADHD

Pilbara for Purpose has partnered with ADHDWA to deliver an information session on Parenting Kids with ADHD.

This session is suitable for parents and carers as well as service workers who work with children and families.

This workshop, run by an ADHD WA clinician, will provide an overview of ADHD and how it presents in children. The workshop will have a strong focus on practical tools and strategies.

Topics covered:

  • intervention focused parenting strategies
  • raising awareness of ADHD behaviours, increasing the chances of desired behaviour
  • responding to challenging and undesired behaviour
  • using rewards and quality time along the way.
