Parenting Neurodivergent Kids
Description
As part of Autism Acceptance Month this April, Anther is holding an affirming and supportive evening of conversation to share lived experiences, challenges and successes of parenting neurodivergent kids. Thursday April 16th, from 6-8pm at Anther Geelong Distillery.
Join in on an inclusive evening alongside industry experts:
- Danielle Spencer - Psychologist and educator with two decades experience in inclusivity,
- Chris Varney - Founder and Chief Enabling Officer of the I CAN® Network, Australia's largest provider of autistic-led group mentoring programs, training and consultancy and,
- Gemma Bird - Occupational Therapist working in allied health and now the Department of Education.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the I CAN® Network and Yellow Ladybugs; a non-government organisation, dedicated to the happiness, success and celebration of autistic girls, women and gender diverse individuals.
A complimentary welcome cocktail is included in the ticket with the option to upgrade to a grazing platter during checkout.
