Description

Parenting Outside the Lines
Understanding ADHD, strengthening connection, and parenting with confidence.

Parenting a child with ADHD calls for more than generic advice. It requires a clear understanding of how the developing brain processes attention, emotion, motivation, and stress.

Parenting Outside the Lines is a neuroscience-informed seminar designed to help parents translate that understanding into practical, effective support at home.

Drawing on contemporary research and clinical practice, this session explores what sits beneath challenging behaviour, why conventional parenting strategies can fall short, and how parents can respond in ways that build regulation, connection, and long-term capability.

Parents will leave with a more sophisticated understanding of ADHD, a clearer framework for responding to difficult moments, and practical strategies that are grounded, compassionate, and realistic for everyday family life.
