Beginning in January 2024, we will be presenting an in person seminar series that provides Moms and Dads some practical insights related to their parenting and marriage relationship.  Each seminar topic is covered in 2 sessions.

Marriage Reconnect: Online Marriage Assessment and Prioritizing Your Marriage - January 23 & 30, 7:00 - 8:15pm

A healthy marriage is foundational in parenting which is why we are kicking off our Parenting Seminar Series with a practical way to evaluate and maintain a healthy marriage.

Different from our individual one-on-one SYMBIS & Marriage Checkup, this 2 session seminar will provide you with your own confidential PDF report while we explore all the various areas that significantly effect marriages.  Your personal results will not be discussed, but we will examine several areas for improvement and growth as a group.

SYMBIS is an acronym for Save Your Marriage Before It Starts and it is an excellent tool for every stage of marriage whether you’re preparing to be married, newly married, or you have been married for many years.

Prior to the first class, you and your spouse will individually will take the online SYMBIS Marriage Assessment.   Then each week, we will review and discuss the following concepts and topics:

• Marriage Momentum & Mindset

• Well Being & Relational Context

• Finances, Expectations, Rules & Roles

• Relational Dynamics- Love Styles

• Relational Dynamics- Attitude & Communication

• Relational Dynamics- Gender Needs, Conflict & Spirituality

$85 per couple covers the cost of the Online Assessment, 17 page PDF Report, plus supplemental assessments and exercises or $195 per household (Best Value) if you register for all four seminars!

Getting on the same page with your spouse is important. So we highly recommend that that both parents attend the class together.

We also welcome and encourage single parents who may be in a relationship to join us!

Shelly & Rich Howard are long-time parenting leaders and Co-Founders of OneFamily. Over the last 15+ years they have helped nearly 10,000 families navigate their marriages and parent their kids from Toddler through the Teens. Shelly was also a MOPS Mentor for 12 years. They have been married for 35 years and have two sons, ages 25 & 23. The Howards are passionate about serving families through OneFamily, a non-profit ministry designed to equip parents for success, encourage, and sustain them for the marriage and parenting journey.
