Beginning in January 2024, we will be presenting an in person seminar series that provides Moms and Dads some practical insights related to their parenting and marriage relationship.  Each seminar topic is covered in 2 sessions.

Parenting in the Digital Age: Stewarding Technology & Devices for your family - February 6 & 13, 7:00 - 8:15pm

Technology enriches our lives every day and we should embrace it without fear! However, to fully appreciate the benefits and freedoms that come from technology, it must be responsibly managed.  Our goal with this Seminar is to equip and encourage you with information and practical ideas to help you put together and implement a technology/device strategy and plan for your family.

2/6 Session – Neurological and Behavioral Impact

• Brain development and neurological effects of screens

• Behavioral impact of screens

• Parenting funnel and self assessment

2/13 Session – Screen time stewardship and strategy

• Family values and standards - Conveying expectations and boundaries.

• Ongoing conversations and accountability

$45 per household includes resources and exercises

Getting on the same page with your spouse is important. So we highly recommend that that both parents attend the class together.

We also welcome and encourage single parents who may be in a relationship to join us!

Rich & Shelly will be leading this class for OneFamily.

Shelly & Rich Howard are long-time parenting leaders and Co-Founders of OneFamily. Over the last 15+ years they have helped nearly 10,000 families navigate their marriages and parent their kids from Toddler through the Teens. Shelly was also a MOPS Mentor for 12 years. They have been married for 35 years and have two sons, ages 25 & 23. The Howards are passionate about serving families through OneFamily, a non-profit ministry designed to equip parents for success, encourage, and sustain them for the marriage and parenting journey. They have found that Great Families need a great strategy to create the family life they love!
