Parenting with Pride

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming event, "Parenting with Pride". This event is designed to empower parents to be strong allies for their LGBTQIA+ kids.

At this event, you will hear from guest speaker Paul Fellows, a relationship counsellor, provisional psychologist, and proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our teenage years are a time of growth and self-discovery. Coming out can have all sorts of effects on young people and their relationships, especially with their parents. Paul will be sharing valuable insights to help you support your child on their journey, including practical tips for creating a safe and inclusive home environment.

In addition, we will have a panel of LGBTQIA+ youth and parents who will share their personal experiences and perspectives. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from those who have been impacted by these issues and to learn from their insights. We will finish the panel by hosting a Q&A session with the audience.

Of course, no event is complete without good food, and we will have a grazing table on site to ensure that you are well fed and nourished throughout the evening.
