Park Arts - Winter Fire and Natural Colour - Centennial Parklands - Winter 2024

Event description

Warm up this winter with nature-based activities that introduce your child to campfire craft. If your child loves art, plants, and animals, then this creative bushcraft day is just for them!

Guided by our Educators, your child will learn the art of campfire-making and enjoy cosying up by a fire they made themselves. They will then learn how to make natural dye from plants and create campfire crafts using plant dyes. It will be a fun day filled with nature-based art games and new skills for your child to take home.

This program is suitable for children aged 5 – 12 years.

Please note: Fire will not be included in our session if NSW Rural Fire Service fire danger ratings are above ‘moderate.’ Sessions will instead focus on bushcraft, creative games, and free play.
