Park JAM Strum Circle October 2023

What to expect:

Come and play in a circle with other musicians.  There will be 2 sets of 10 songs with a short break in between.  All charts will be emailed to you along with a Spotify list of the songs we will play in order.  You will also have access to a Google Classroom (an online learning platform) with links to tutorials to help you get familiar with the songs. 

There is a range of songs from easy as to a little more challenging and this month is the last session for 2023.  It will be "people's choice" this month.   I will get you to vote on the 59 songs we have played this year. I will do a survey and the top 20 will be the ones we play. 

3.30pm: arrive and set up

4.00 - 4.45pm: Set 1

4.45 - 5.15: Tea/Coffee break (provided)

5.15 - 6pm: Set 2

6.00 - 6.30pm: Pack up and vacate

Who are we:

We are a once-a-month group of players who meet mostly in the Vic Park Area (Perth Western Australia). We are easy going cruisey people and we like to sing and play a variety of songs from different eras of the strummy nature, sing our hearts out, and add some harmonies if we can.

It's not just for guitarists; ukulele players and singers are also welcome.  We are all unplugged except those asked to play bass or lead parts.  If you play any other instruments that will complement the set list please let me know once you have received it.
