Park JAM Strum Circle September 2023
Event description
We are a once-a-month group of players who meet mostly in the Vic Park Area (Perth Western Australia). We are easy going cruisey people and we like to sing and play a variety of songs from different eras of the strummy nature, sing our hearts out, and add some harmonies if we can.
It's not just for guitarists; ukulele players and singers are also welcome. We are all unplugged except those asked to play bass or lead parts. If you play any other instruments that will complement the set list please let me know once you have received it.
There is a range of songs from easy as to a little more challenging and new songs are added each month. Full charts are available before the JAM, sent to you as a PDF of the songs in order. I will also forward a link to a Spotify playlist of the songs in order. If you are a beginner player, I suggest you start easy and build your skills as you go. People are pretty generous and if you need to know something, ask away. Audience members are welcome to this event and this venue. If you have a loved one who would like to experience what you get up to, please purchase an audience ticket.
There are two sets of 10 songs each with a break in between.
10.30am: arrive and set up
11.00 - 11.45am: Set 1
11.45 - 12.30: Tea/Coffee break (not provided for this event). This is a longer that normal break as there will be at least 40 of us trying to buy coffee.
12.30 - 1.30pm: Set 2
1.30 - 2.00pm: Pack up and vacate
Once you have purchased your tickets, check your JUNK or SPAM folder. You should receive your tickets shortly after.
