Park Science - Mad Mappers & Treasure Hunters
Event description
Follow us on our Mad Mappers way. Avoid the White Rabbit and step in line to ensure you don’t get lost like Alice!
You will learn how to use and make a map and how to find your way with and without a compass!Â
In the morning (10-12pm) , kids will learn the basics of mapping and orienteering through hands-on activities and investigation.
In the afternoon (1-3pm) , we will create an extended treasure hunt putting our new skills into practice whilst enjoying the beauty of Centennial Park!Â
This is a new format - turn this program to a full day program (8-4pm) by booking the Full Day ticket! We will supervise your child for an extra hour before and after the program and through the lunch break.
When booking, choose the date first and then choose your time slot under tickets.Â
