Event description
During this 2hr program we'll learn the science of survival behind shelter building!
We'll learn how to engineer a stable, free standing stick shelter that keeps us protected from the wind and rain and take a look at how other animals build their shelters.
Of course, there will be a lot of fun and games amidst the trees and ponds of the park!
The activities are prepared to meet STEM curriculum outcomes whilst ensuring a fun day out in the park!
Ages: 5 – 12 years
Please note this is a DROP OFF program. Parents do not attend with their children.
Children must wear closed in shoes, bring a water bottle and hat.
