Join a Guided Birdwatching Walk at Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi Wetlands
Discover the native birdlife of Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi on a guided walk through its beautiful wetlands and woodlands, led by experienced birders from Birds SA.
Whether you're a beginner or already know a bit about birds, this event is the perfect way to deepen your knowledge and appreciation of local species. Learn to identify native birds by sight and sound and enjoy the peaceful morning chorus.
Details:
A marquee will be located by the South Terrace Croquet Club
Staggered walks led by a birder from Birds SA will leave from the marquee
Some binoculars provided, but bring your own if you can
Family-friendly (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
Walks can be made pram and wheelchair accessible
Fun bird-themed games, including a Bird Bingo Quest, will be available for kids!
Wear appropriate footwear, bring water and a hat
Soak up the morning in one of Adelaide’s most beautiful natural spaces, meet fellow bird enthusiasts, learn about ReBird the Ranges' efforts to restore bird populations and habitat, and experience the joy of birdwatching.
