This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

During this hands-on 3-hour workshop you’ll learn the basics for
upholstering a flat surface (e.g. a dining chair, a bed head) by
creating your own milk-crate upholstered seat base. This workshop
includes choosing appropriate fabric, measuring and cutting foam and
padding and what timbers to use for creating the base.

  • A notepad and pen is useful for you to take your own notes.
  • We supply all materials required, but if you have a preferred fabric to use, you can bring that along. Minimum size is 60cm x 60cm and it needs to be medium to heavy weight (e.g. drill cotton).
  • This is a 3-hour workshop. You may wish to bring your own lunch and drinks, or there are plenty of cafes nearby.
  • Please note you will need to show proof of address to get the Parramatta price.
