Sydney Alliance Assembly with NSW Treasurer Matt Kean, Parramatta Nov 30th

The Sydney Alliance Parramatta local organising team is pleased to invite you to participate in an assembly with NSW Treasurer Matt Kean on Wednesday evening November 30th at Parramatta Mission, 119 Macquarie Street, Parramatta.

At this assembly the Sydney Alliance will be united in our calls for a fairer and more just Sydney in areas such as cost of living, affordable housing and rights for renters, affordable and renewable energy and climate mitigation and adaptation.

With the NSW Election only months away, the Alliance is working across all parties to secure commitments for the next four years.

Following a meeting of the Sydney Alliance with NSW Treasurer Matt Kean in 2021 (pictured), this meeting will be the most significant meeting between the NSW Government and the Sydney Alliance during this term of government.

The evening will include a keynote address from the NSW Treasurer (focused on his 2022 budget and vision for 2023), sharing of stories and a case from the Sydney Alliance and a back and forth of commitments, where the Treasurer will be asked to make concrete commitments to act.

Time: 5:45pm for 6pm-8pm, dinner provided

Location: Parramatta Mission, 119 Macquarie Street, Parramatta
Venue is in walking distance from Parramatta Train Station and Bus Bay. There is also paid parking nearby.
Please leave enough time for Sydney traffic if driving.

The Sydney Alliance will have two pre-meetings for this event.

  • Includes a briefing for all participating organisations
  • Deliberation on key policies for negotiation
  • All participants registered for Nov 30th will be invited to attend the pre-meeting on Wed Nov 23rd.
