    Event description

Experience the Enigmatic History of Old Parramatta Gaol!

Have you ever wanted to explore Parramatta Gaol with the lights on?

We are passionate about preserving the history of this iconic prison, which, upon closing its formidable iron gates, held the title of Australia's oldest operating correctional facility.

Join us for a captivating 1.5-hour tour where you'll delve into the gaol's shadowy past. Discover the stories of the inmates, the crimes they committed, and what life was like behind these historic walls. Although this is at night, the lights in the Wings are switched on, which allows you the chance to wander around and see the prison as it would have looked at night.

Tickets are required, and please note that discussions of inmate crimes will be included. Don't miss this opportunity to uncover the secrets of Old Parramatta Gaol!
