We will meet at the lawns near the Pollen Café, both for the walk and for those joining at 11 for only the writing session. Anyone wishing to wait at the Café is welcome to as long as they purchase something.

The day starts off with a stroll through the gardens to help everyone relax and get into a writing mood. Anyone who does not want to participate is free to work at on of the benches around the gardens or at the Pollen Café (with the purchase of a coffee), or get an extra hour's sleep and join us at 11.

From 11 we will start writing, we will be using the Shut Up And Write methodology of 50 minute quite working sessions followed by a 10 minute break. This has been shown to increase productivity across a whole day and gives everyone a chance to enjoy the beautiful gardens between sessions.

They are fantastic at catering for any dietary requirement, so make sure to make a note in your booking if you have any particular requirements. The facility will also have access hot water for tea and (instant) coffee, with a Café a short walk away for anyone who needs an espresso or a snack.

The writing facility consists of two heated rooms with broad views onto the Banksia gardens with access to power and WIFI.
