PARTNER YOGA - BONDI EDITION
This workshop is a modern and engaging version of traditional yoga. Carlotta and Luisa will take you into a journey to stretch your body and built trust through some partner and group exercises.
The workshop has 3 components:
- It starts with a duo seated meditation and pranayama from Tantra and Vedic traditions. Eye gazing will help the participants to connect on a higher level without verbal communication.
- Then we will guide a series of stretching, balancing and trust building exercises and yoga asanas. This isn't an Acro Yoga workshops, although some drills may be similar. The exercises proposed are part of Zen Thai Yoga tradition.
- We will finish with a Bija Mantra Chanting and a group massage to bring altogether in a circle as one entity. We have added a special Australian aboriginal invocation to Mother Earth.
Join us if you would like to explore your boundaries, connect with strangers, stretch your body and relax your mind!
Leave the practice with a smile, feeling energised and ready for the dance floor with more friends.
This workshop isn't acro yoga, although some of the poses presented are used as a preparatory practice for partner acro. It is open for all fitness level and age. The teachers are trained internationally and have been teaching since 2017, their communication skills and attention for details will take the students into a safe journey on the mat.

MEET YOUR HOSTS:
Carlotta: I am originally from Italy, I have been living in New Zealand and Australia for over 6 years. I have been working with movement, dance, belly dance, aerial dance, fire spinning, contemporary dance and yoga for over 10 years, teaching and performing in different countries and festivals. In 2012 I obtained a qualification as contemporary and oriental dance teacher after a 3 years academy and I have been teaching dance since 2010. In the past 6 years I got more and more passionate about yoga and that led me to get my Vinyasa and Hatha yoga 500 hours YTTC plus other 75 hours YTTC in other yoga styles. I love teaching! I have been running regular classes and workshops for groups in different countries and settings and for people of different ages and background. My yoga teaching has a main focus on safety, alignment and having fun :)
Luisa: I am a facilitator and teacher specialising in the areas of somatic movement, meditation, yoga and breathwork. I have spent 6 years of my life travelling South America, India and Australia. I learnt about traditional sustainability practices, studied yogic knowledge, participated in shamanic rituals, worked with traditional medicines and over time fostered a deep relationship with the earth that I called home. Though these practices differ in their application, they all share the same core message. One of connection, one of compassion, one of healing. I am committed to sharing them with anyone who is seeking a higher path.
