Party for the People
Event description
Once a month The WOOM is hosting a free party for the people. A party co-created and made amazing by the people attending.
FOOD: Please bring along a wholesome vegan dish to share (local, homegrown or foraged where possible), and your own plate, cup and cutlery
DRINK: We will provide free herbal teas and cold water (Do not bring alcohol on site)
ENTERTAINMENT: Please bring along any instruments if you’d like to play them around the fire, inspiring and thought provoking words, if you’d like to speak, or sing on the open mic, and your dancing dress, if you wish to enhance your dance. Please wear weather appropriate clothing, as this event takes place in our open air barn space.
ECO CRAFT STALLS: If you are a creator of eco crafts, please feel free to bring them along to sell to other members. 30% of the income generated through sales will be donated to The Woodland WOOM. (Cash Only)
This event is open to members of The WOOM Community. Not currently a member? Book your free space online and we will send a registration form to your email address. All attendees must book their free space in advance.

Where possible we encourage our members and visitors to walk, cycle, car share, or take public transport to The WOOM.

From the Bell Pub it is a 20 - 25-minute walk. From the bus stop walk along 'Main Road,' turn right down 'Well Lane,' right again Into Danbury Country Park, Left at the 2nd set of public toilets near the garden lake to exit the country park, across Woodhill Road and along Woodhill Common Road, where The WOOM is situated. Most of the walk takes place inside Danbury Country Park.
