Event description

Join us for a beautiful Saturday afternoon passata party, highlighting the abundance of our summer romas at the end of their season!

NOTE* if you have seen printed flyers around with a March date, we have had to move the date back a month due to the environment - classic! We will have so many roma's in April we wont know what to do with ourselves, however they'll still be a small crop in March. Thanks for understanding!

Event begins at 5:30pm, ending around 8-8:30pm with the bar open for another hour or so!

What's Included

An afternoon casual event making passata after harvesting some tomatoes and enjoying the farm
A spritz made from citrus from our local backyard growers
All materials for cooking included
Snacks from the farm
A bottle of passata, ready for pickup a week after the event

There are a number of options for payment at checkout, please email programs@commongroundproject.com.au to discuss an accessible option for you or with any questions about the event.

Please add dietaries at checkout and we will do our best to accomodate. We use all allergens in our kitchen.

Common Ground Project is a regenerative farm and social enterprise on the Surf Coast that connects and empowers the community through food and farming. We exist to cultivate a stronger, fairer and more resilient food system and empower agency and access for those who need it most. We do this by offering training and employment pathways to people facing disadvantage, and by providing an inclusive space for growing, cooking, purchasing, knowledge sharing, and ongoing community collaboration. All our programs support food security in the region, as we work to create fairer access to locally grown, healthy food. Grounded in regenerative farming, and in recognition of the urgent need for a more resilient food system, we believe that connection to land, food, work and community can drive real, meaningful social and environmental change.
