Passing Notes with Bec Street at Marrickville Library
Description
Passing Notes
About the Workshop
Remember passing notes? Join artist Bec Street as part of the Inner West Inclusion Festival 2025 to craft handmade letters as gifts to brighten someone’s day (or your own).
In this relaxed, accessible workshop, you’ll write and decorate handmade notes using colourful paper, stickers, stamps and more. Write messages of care, friendship, or encouragement, and leave with something special to gift or keep at home on the fridge.
There will be printed instructions with photos showing each step of the process, plus writing prompts to help you get started. All materials are supplied, and no art experience is needed.
Free event – bookings essential via Humanitix
Capacity is limited to 15 people per session to keep things relaxed — these will fill quickly, so book now!
The 3–4 pm session will be Auslan interpreted, with an interpreter available to support Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests.
🕛 Session 1: 12–1 pm
🕐 Session 2: 1.30–2.30 pm
🕒 Session 3 Auslan Interpreted : 3–4 pm
