The community regularly runs programs on urban agriculture and the preparation of healthy food. With the support of a grant, Cultivating Community were able to employ Cassandra Hogan as their community baker two days a week.
The Carlton Kitchen Library is the first of its kind in Melbourne where members can borrow kitchen equipment for free and save on buying expensive appliances. The library aligns with the growing “repair and share movement” where people pool their resources.
