Pat Powell is a Jamaican singer, raised in Bristol (England) and has been Sydney based for the past 4 decades. He is known for his versatility, performing regularly across most genres of music (Reggae, Ska, Jazz, Rhythm & Blues - old and new, Hip Hop, Funk and Gospel) and has generously shared his knowledge and experience with upcoming musicians.
Throughout his career he has enjoyed supporting many international and local acts/artists including James Brown, Queen, George Benson, the Eurythmics, Boy George, Split Enz, Michael Hutchence, Crowded House and Tina Arena. He has also toured internationally with Kylie Minogue and continues to tour many continents with the Melbourne Ska Orchestra.
