Heading to Bright to run the Buffalo Stampede? Or just want to sit back, relax and watch a movie with a beer?!

Why not kick things off with a preview screening of a new film by Patagonia: END TO AN END - RUNNING TO SAVE THE GREAT FOREST - inside Bright Brewery.

The evening will be hosted by Patagonia ambassador Majell Backhausen - also the film's co-producer, star, and 2023 Buffalo Stampede 100km runner.

Majell will MC the evening, providing a unique look behind the scenes of the film, as well as giving away some great Patagonia and Brightsyde gear.

About the film:

End to an End - Running to Save the Great Forest (45 mins)
The majestic mountain ash forests of Victoria are on the verge of collapse. These vast, ancient ecosystems are not only home to the world's tallest flowering plants, but also provide habitat for one of Australia's most endangered species, the Leadbeater’s possum. The forests are vital to Melbourne’s water catchment, store immense amounts of carbon, and are amongst the most biodiverse areas anywhere in Australia. They also hold immense, irreplaceable cultural and heritage value.

This film explores the life of a unique and precious ecosystem on the doorstep of Melbourne (The Great Forest National Park) and advocates for why its biodiversity, water, and culture should be protected.

Entry to the event is via a $5 donation to the environmental organisations working to protect the Great Forest of Victoria's Central Highlands. Your $5 donation will also gain you one raffle ticket to a bunch of door prizes from Patagonia and Brightsyde.
