Join us for a special evening celebrating the latest Pathways to Purpose cohort and the impact films they’ve created alongside organisations working for positive social and environmental change.

Over 11 weeks, emerging filmmakers have developed their craft through ethical storytelling, the Story Canvas method, production mentoring and hands-on collaboration with purpose-driven organisations.

Now, it’s time to bring those stories to the big screen.

Come along to watch the films, hear from the people behind them and celebrate the creativity, learning and partnerships that have grown throughout the program.

✨ A screening of short impact films created by emerging filmmakers for organisations including The Reconnect Project, Australian Waacktournament, Floating Foreshores and Digital Storytellers!

🌱 About Pathways to Purpose

Hosted by Digital Storytellers, Pathways to Purpose supports emerging filmmakers to gain practical experience creating story-led work with organisations working towards positive social and environmental change.

Participants move through the storytelling process together, from understanding purpose and shaping a story through to production, mentoring and creating a finished impact film.

The program is about more than making films. It’s about developing storytellers who can work ethically, collaboratively and with purpose.

Pathways to Purpose is proudly supported by the City of Sydney. We thank the City for helping emerging filmmakers develop their skills and create stories for positive social and environmental change.
