Linking your PhD with industry: Research internships and Industry PhDs at ANU

Collaborating with an industry partner while studying for an ANU research-focused PhD or MPhil degree not only provides an opportunity to make a substantial and original contribution to your discipline but also to solve real-world R&D challenges. In this workshop + Q&A session, will discuss the major engagement pathways for HDR candidates, research internships and Industry PhDs, explain the administrative process for these, outline ANU supports and offer pointers on how to get started.

Lead – Dr Ulrike Proske is the HDR Industry Engagement Consultant in the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Graduate Research) at the ANU. She is coordinating HDR research internships across all ANU Colleges, managing applications to the National Industry PhD Program and is supporting prospective and current HDR candidates, academic supervisors and professional staff who are engaging with industry.
