Pathways to Possibilities Symposium

Please join SSI, in partnership with Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce, Jobs Australia and National Disability Services, for the Pathways to Possibilities Symposium as we lead a discussion on Disability Employment with industry and sector leaders, government officials, and disability and employment experts at a one-day symposium to advance the dialogue on the economic participation of People with Disability.
This is an important step in amplifying the voice of People with Disability regarding employment challenges, opportunities and solutions for improving outcomes.
You will hear from People with Disability and those who advocate for more optimal employment opportunities, and take part in unpacking the innovative solutions of employers who have made significant change.

Please note there is limited capacity at this venue so a maximum of one representative from each organisation is accepted at this event.
The symposium features:
- A panel discussion with People with Disability
- Keynote Speech from Donna Purcell, Disability Advocate and Access and Diversity specialist
- Hear perspectives from organisations and sector leaders on the implementation of disability employment best practice, including- Accessible Arts, NDIA, Australian Disability Network, Department of Social Services, NDS, Jobs Australia and Bankstown Chamber of Commerce
- Tim Ferguson, Australian comedian, film director, screenwriter, author and IncludeAbility Ambassador will be MC'ing this event
- Panel discussions to be facilitated by award-winning writer and Disability activist Carly Findlay
- Roundtable discussions looking to define the pathway of possibility for your organisation

This event is an accessible event and will include AUSLAN interpreters, live captioning and graphic recording.
This event is being held in partnership with the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce, Jobs Australia and National Disability Services.
