Pattern Play - Block Printing Workshop - 26 June

Friday 26 June, 6.30pm-8.30pm

Join OOLAH STUDIO for a 2-hour block printing workshop and enjoy a creative evening at Theia Studios on the Central Coast.

Using a collection of pre-cut geometric blocks, you’ll experiment with colour and composition to create your own beautiful pattern designs. Once you’ve created a design you love, you’ll print it onto a tote bag using eco-friendly textile inks — leaving with a one-of-a-kind piece to gift or keep.

During the workshop you will:

• Explore simple block printing techniques using geometric shapes

• Play with colour and composition

• Hand block print your own custom tote bag

Whether you come along solo or with friends, it’s the perfect excuse to switch off, get creative and enjoy some precious time out.

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to be relaxed, welcoming and playful — no experience needed!


What you'll get

• All materials provided for use on the day, including pre-cut geometric blocks, eco-friendly inks and rollers.

• 100% cotton tote bag, with option to purchase additional totes (time permitting!)

• Small class size.

• Light refreshments and nibbles.

Knowledge required

• No experience necessary.

• Adults of all ages and artistic abilities are welcome!

What to bring

• Comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting messy.

• An old shirt or an apron to protect your clothing.

• Enclosed shoes.

• Water bottle.
