The Hamilton and Alexandra College Equestrian Centre is pleased to welcome Paul Williams, a name long synonymous with show jumping across Victoria, for an exclusive coaching clinic hosted on the outdoor arena.

Paul’s involvement in equestrian sport spans decades. Beginning as a rider and competitor in his teenage years, he has played a significant role in the development of Victorian show jumping through his work with the Young Jump Squad and the Victorian Young Rider programs since their inception. His contribution has helped shape generations of riders and establish pathways that continue to support emerging talent today.

Throughout his career, Paul has fulfilled numerous roles within the sport, including coach, course builder, commentator, and administrator. His leadership experience includes serving as the Past President of the Port Phillip Show Jumping Club and representing the sport through Equestrian Victoria committees.

Paul has travelled extensively throughout Australia and internationally as Chef d’Equipe, supporting teams at the elite competition level, and continues to mentor high-performance riders, including his son Matt Williams, an Australian representative on multiple occasions.

Known for his practical approach, depth of knowledge, and genuine focus on rider development, Paul combines high standards with an approachable coaching style, making sessions both productive and enjoyable for riders at all stages.

Lesson & Ticket Structure

To assist with bookings, please note the following session formats:

Private Lesson (45 minutes)
Selecting a Private Lesson ticket books an individual 45-minute coaching session with Paul Williams. This option overrides the shared clinic format and reserves exclusive one-on-one instruction for the rider. This appears as two tickets on your checkout out but you are buying the two rider spots for a single private lesson.
Shared Lesson (60 minutes)
Selecting a Shared Lesson ticket books a one-hour session that can be shared by riders. The session will be conducted with any other rider who selects the same shared lesson time slot, enabling collaborative learning and course-style coaching.

Both lesson types are structured to maximise rider development while ensuring efficient scheduling within the clinic program. Times will be confirmed by Diana in the week leading into the clinic.

Booking Note - Bookings close Monday, 9 March.

Because the booking system allows participants to select their preferred session times, private lessons may be purchased only one at a time. Families wishing to book multiple private lessons must complete each booking as a separate transaction to ensure accurate scheduling and time allocation.

Both lesson types are structured to maximise rider development while ensuring efficient scheduling within the clinic program.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a two-day clinic; attendees need to buy a ticket for each day they wish to attend.
Attendees will be notified of their clinic time as soon as clinic bookings close.
