Event description

Mildura Rural City Council, with support from Emergency Recovery Victoria, is hosting a FREE informative evening with Paul West.

Paul is a renowned TV presenter (River Cottage Australia) and advocate for real food, sustainable agriculture, community and regional living. He will discuss how home gardens increase biodiversity, soil carbon, carbon footprints, water management and personal and community health.

As part of our region’s ongoing recovery from the Murray River flood event, Mildura Rural City Council now has two dedicated Community Recovery Officers.

Our Community Recovery Officers will coordinate a range of activities and events in flood-impacted areas, supporting communities including Nangiloc, Nichols Point, and Red Cliffs.

These activities could include community events, workshops, mental health support events and community resilience projects.
