Event description

Join me on a journey towards growth and renewal, where we will release your stress and tension, reconnect with your body, and feel renewed with myofascial release, breathwork, somatic/body based and nervous system practices for immediate and lasting change.

What you can expect;

Together, we will establish a felt sense of safety within ourselves with a grounding practice, to soothe the mind before deepening our understanding of stress and burnout through the nervous system lens.

We will identify the old patterns of stress and tension we hold individually by engaging with our bodies through body scans, self-massage and myofascial release.

With this knowledge we will explore powerful tools for restoring the body and releasing stress in the moment, while also reprogramming our patterns for the future, through breathwork, somatic/ body based movements and nervous system practices.

Feeling lighter and grounded, we will pause to reflect on the growth we have made so far, the renewal within us that has been initiated, and consider how these practices can be utilised for continued renewal in our daily life.

What you will leave with;

An understanding of how stress and burnout affects you; an experience of physical and mental renewal, having released stress and establishing a grounded presence; and equipped with a range of tools to guide and support you in embodying this sense of renewal within your daily life.

What your workshop includes;

A two hour experiential workshop facilitated in a restorative, welcoming and safe space with yoga mats, cushions and seats for comfort; hosted by a kind and compassionate instructor.

A grounding, renewing experience with access to practice instructions and 2x myofascial balls to support the integration of these practices into your daily life.

Who is leading this workshop;

This workshop is created and hosted by Mel, Remedial Massage Therapist, Nervous System Coach and owner of Remedied. After experiencing first hand the difference these practices have made in her own life, Mel has been sharing this widely with her studio clients but wanted to reach more people, so Renew was created.

Renew leverages Mel’s professional knowledge with her personal and lived experience to provide a science based workshop that is easy to understand and apply both immediately and in your day to day life. Mel is passionate about realistic self care (taking care of your needs within the obligations of your daily life), kindness and how amazing the human body is. Rest assured Mel will welcome you warmly, treat you respectfully, and leave you feeling lighter, brighter and like you just made a new friend.
