Pause - Breathe Silent Retreat of Meditation and Gentle Movement
Event description
At times you may feel that life is taking over, being pulled in all directions, that you are too busy or having too many responsibilities. It might be that you have spread yourself too thin with busy family life, looming deadlines, stress at work, people putting pressure on you, or your mind could simply be too noisy. Or maybe just want a change of scenery for no specific reason
This gentle retreat is a wonderful opportunity to take a break from it all. Take time to stand still, just be, breathe and get back to yourself, come home to yourself and to the moment
Make space in your breathing, in your body, in your mind, in your days, and in your life. Catch your breath, re-ignite your inner joy, give yourself the gift of pausing, and just being. Replenish yourself, and take your time to unwind, refresh, rejuvenate and restore
“When we return home, even for the briefest flicker, our peaceful hearts will glisten with tears of joy”
Find inner space, emotional balance, clarity of mind and relaxation through sitting and walking meditations, breath work and Qi Gong
Qi Gong (pronounced: chi kung) is the art of working with your internal energy (Qi) to improve your state of being through gentle movement. It is about learning nourishing practices for health, vitality, happiness, joy, connection, well-being and fulfilment. It is easy to learn and enjoyable to do. The movements are slow, flowing, rhythmic, natural and accessible
