PAWA 2023 SUPPORTERS TICKET

PAWA 2023 IS HERE. 

We bring together performance artist from across Aotearoa and the world to bring a stellar line-up of performance art works, workshops, discussion and happenings to Wellington City. If you are planning to come to multiple events across the week, or just want to support this work happening, this is the ticket for you! 

This is a ticket is for EVERYTHING. It is a ticket of generosity. 

All our events are free or koha, we prioritise accessibility and quality of work over any 'bums on seats' approach. We hold events that are durational/outdoors/unconventional - these are not that kind of works that suit a traditional ticketed system, however if you like what we do and value our work then this supporters ticket is perfect way to support us in a practical way. 

PAWA has always run on very slim budgets and many volunteer hours, however we always priortise paying artist and have rasied our fees for our artists each festival, as well as our paid staff and of course there are many other costs associated with running a whole festival. Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to get the funding support for an avant-garde event like ours in New Zealand to be able to cover the costs of this, especially without the support of Creative New Zealand. Please consider supporting us this year, so we will not be in the red.
