This July we have a special session of Perth Comic Arts Festival Academy, featuring our partner The Illo Club!

"The Illustration Club is running a workshop/co-working session in preparation for the 2024 Perth Comic Arts Festival. We will have some market hall table examples set up to check out. We'll discuss organising your setup for the day, what products we recommend and things to keep in mind when preparing. Bring along any comics you're working on and join us for a collaborative afternoon of info-sharing and art-making!"

This session is appropriate for anyone who's interested in learning more about how tabling in our market hall works. Think of it as professional development, whether you're new to making comics and thinking about tabling at your first event or an established pro who wants to get even better at it!

This session is in a different room than usual. Access to the Great Southern Room on Level 4 includes at least one flight of stairs, as there is no public elevator between Levels 3 and 4. But if you require elevator access, no problem at all! Please just inform us at sarah@pcaf.org.au ahead of time, and we'll make sure the library staff knows to keep an eye out for you (they can provide access to a secret elevator).
