With the support of the Social Policy Group, Palestinian Christians in Australia is proud to present Health and Wellbeing Program created by Palestinians for the Palestinian community in Australia. The program will be presented by our very own, PCiA board member and psychotherapist Ramzi Jildeh who is originally from Gaza, Palestine. Ramzi brings his knowledge, experience and shared understanding to help our community heal from the trauma of the occupation and the wars. His sessions will be focused on adults and seniors.
We are also delighted to have Razan Tarazi, a primary school teacher - from The Holy Family Catholic School in Gaza - who will be guiding the children and teens through art therapy to express their feelings and create new vision for their life in Australia. She will be supported by two Palestinian Australians who have direct experience with children and teens, Nurse and Counsellor Mary Wahhab Sweeney and Positive Psychology practitioner Dana Freiwat.
We are proud to have a Palestinian team supporting our Palestinian community. This program is for all Palestinians - those have been in Australia for decades and new arrivals.
Registration is free.
Food and drinks will be provided
Art supplies will be provided to the children
