In this PCQ Webinar our guest speaker Sally Douglas from Good Mourning will share her insights on coping with grief during the holidays.

Grief is something we will all experience, yet it’s often one of the hardest conversations to have. Grief can be difficult to navigate, especially around holidays, anniversaries and milestones. That’s why we’re bringing you a special session with Sally, co-founder of Good Mourning, the movement inspiring others to cope when life takes an unexpected turn.

After the devastating loss of their mums just months apart, Sal and Im created Good Mourning to offer the kind of support they wished they had. Today, their grief podcast is one of the most listened-to in the world, blending honesty, humour, and lived experience with expert insights to tackle topics like resilience, mental health, spirituality, and the messy reality of loss.

Join us for an open, compassionate conversation about navigating grief at this busy and emotional time of year. Whether you’re supporting someone through loss, or walking your own grief journey, this is a discussion you won’t want to miss.

We believe that palliative care is everybody’s business, and we aim to build compassionate communities around people and their families experiencing serious illness, dying, death, caregiving and grief. This webinar is designed for all members of the community including both health and non-health related workers (i.e., healthcare workers, doctors, nurses, social workers, allied health staff, health administrative staff, spiritual care workers, health managers, health educators, pharmacists and paramedics). We also encourage people from diverse backgrounds to attend. These webinars are sponsored by Queensland Health, and supported by Queensland Ambulance Service.

FREE for PCQ members, PCQ Volunteers, North Brisbane Region and QAS Paramedics.
